In this session, we continued from the previous week’s work and focused on reading practice with three-letter words that included basic harakah and jazm.
Participants read a variety of examples and practised recognizing the vowel marks and the jazm while pronouncing the words correctly. Working with these short words helps build confidence and strengthens the ability to quickly identify the marks that guide pronunciation.
The goal of this practice was to reinforce familiarity with basic harakah and jazm while continuing to improve fluency in reading. Repetition and consistent exposure to these patterns help readers become more comfortable and accurate when encountering them in text.
The deck used in this session is as follows:
You are warmly invited to join our future session on Learning to Read the Quran. These gatherings are for women only and are designed to support learners through short explanations followed by practical reading exercises.
In the next session, we will continue our reading practice with four-letter words using basic harakah and jazm, and we will also learn about full vowels.
We look forward to continuing the learning journey together.
