Today we hosted a meetup session for everyone keen on learning to read Quran. We learned quick facts about the Arabic language and read through the entire alphabet set multiple times. We also invested time in understanding how the number and placement of dots make the similar looking letters actually different.

We ended the session with reading exercises where each attendee read through reading sets with the help of alphabet reference. These reading sets included only the first half of Arabic alphabet.
We are eagerly waiting for our next lesson to complete the recognition exercises for the entire alphabet.
