We had a beautiful session today on memorizing the first two ayahs of Surah Al-Mulk! Though attendance was a bit light, the energy and focus were wonderful. It was a focused reading practice, followed by exploring the word-by-word meanings and studying root words such as “yablu” (to test/try) and “ayyu” from “ayyukum” (which of you).
For new learners, the ayah deck included transliteration to make reading and pronunciation easier.
Next time, the plan is to split into smaller breakout rooms for active recall and memorization practice—an excellent way to build confidence and fluency.
Join the second session tomorrow evening—let’s continue this journey of reflection and learning together!
